COURSE CONTENT

Learning research shows that the best gains are made through small amounts of information being delivered frequently over a longer time frame. Split into 2 levels, trainees start by learning the foundation-skills of selling, and are then introduced to advanced techniques including cold calling skills and negotiation training as they progress.

Users are guided through the course, and the theory and techniques are explained before seeing them in context in over 200 video role-play. At the end of each session you’ll find customised video role-plays starring your team. Combined with the written content and stimulating visual elements, you end up with a system that works for all types of learners.

SESSION FORMAT

20 sessions of mixed-media learning, each taking approximately 1 hour to complete. Trainees work through one session at a time, and are marked by their manager before they are able to move on. This means they are able to absorb and apply the techniques as they progress at a regulated pace.

Moving through the course is designed to be fun and easy, catering to people with all levels of computer skills. Users learn ‘bit by bit’, with workbook questions following each new technique or skill. Then at the end of the session they are presented with the customised, in-store role play that brings together all the elements of that particular session, bringing the techniques to life in a context they can truly relate to.

CUSTOMISED

Questions, products, processes, language and even video role-plays are infused with the things that make your company unique. We believe that getting to know you is key to providing you with the most effective training solution.

We’ll send someone in to spend time talking to you about what differentiates you from other companies and build that all into the content and questions within the training. Two nights onsite filming using your staff as actors produce 20 video role-play videos that bring together the key elements within each learning session. To finish it all off we splash on your colours and branding throughout, giving you a product that speaks to your people.

WORKBOOK

Learning is not passive, it needs to be contextual and relevant. Text based workbook style questions require thought and analysis and ensure trainees ‘get it!’. Questions, answers and any feedback received from their marking manager are then stored in a downloadable, printable PDF document.

Because team members have a marking manager that checks the validity of their answers and provides feedback where necessary, and marking managers are able to be monitored from upper management, there is accountability at every stage. Viewing the ‘conversation’ between trainees and coaches provides transparency, so you always know exactly what’s going on at any level of your company. That’s true peace of mind.

COACHING

Coaches; generally a manager or senior sales person, are responsible for guiding their team through the training, marking their workbook answers and role-playing techniques. This way your team members know they have someone to provide support and keep track of their progress.

It's designed to be easy so coaches feel comfortable and confident guiding their trainees through the programme. We give them model answers to all workbook questions and ‘Coach Cards’, which outline the skills that need to be demonstrated during role-play activities. These act as the ‘show me’ element of the training, bringing together the theory and techniques, and applying them in real-life situations.

REPORTING

Reporting is a unique and powerful benefit of RedSeed Retail. Use it as a global view of what’s happening across your organisation, or look at region, store or individual progress. View snapshot statistics from the Marking and Admin Mode or print reports detailing user’s progress, inactivity lists, exam completion and much more!

Access can be regulated and broken down into many levels specific to your company structure, so training can be monitored across the business to ensure you’re getting the most out of your sales team. Paired with your sales statistics, RedSeed training can also become a powerful performance appraisal tool.

ADMINISTRATION

Just hired a new sales person? Current user changed their name or moved to another branch? No problem. We’ve made it simple to add, edit or delete team members as you require. Assign one individual within your company to manage users or let your managers do it from store level or sales team, whatever suits you best.

Send alerts to users who haven’t done any training for a designated period, download and print an individual’s workbook with all of their answers, or issue personalised certificates to those who finish their training...all with one click of your mouse!
